SecLevelAlpha is seeking a Venture Analyst to join our investment team. In this role, you'll support our portfolio strategy by researching emerging technologies, analyzing market trends, and evaluating potential investment opportunities. You'll work closely with our leadership team to identify promising startups in the AI, cybersecurity, and fintech spaces, and help nurture our existing portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
- •Research emerging technologies and market trends in AI, cybersecurity, and fintech
- •Evaluate potential investment opportunities through market analysis and due diligence
- •Create detailed investment memoranda and financial models
- •Support portfolio companies with strategic guidance and resource connections
- •Monitor portfolio performance and prepare regular reports
- •Assist with investor relations and fundraising activities
- •Represent SecLevelAlpha at virtual industry events and startup pitch competitions
- •Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications
- •Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- •1-3 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or startup operations
- •Strong analytical skills and financial modeling experience
- •Understanding of technology ecosystems, particularly in AI, cybersecurity, or fintech
- •Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills
- •Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- •Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and startups
- •Network in the tech startup community a plus
